Chairs Committee

A meeting of the Chairs' Committee will be held at 14:00 p.m. on Friday 16th January 2009 at Endeavour House, Exeter to consider the following matters.

Any papers listed as "to follow", urgent items or supplementary papers will be made available as soon as possible and in any event at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.

Meeting agenda

  1. Apologies for Absence
    To receive apologies for absence from Members unable to attend the meeting.
  2. Declarations of Interest
    To receive any declarations from Members / Officers of personal and / or prejudicial interests in respect of matters for consideration at this meeting, together with the appropriate statement on the nature of any such declared interests which are required to be published in the minutes of this meeting.
  3. Items Requiring Urgent Attention
    Items which in the opinion of the Chairman should be considered by the meeting as a matter of urgency.
  4. Minutes
    To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 18th December 2008.
  5. Member Training
    To discuss possible training for Members in relation to Prince 2 - Methodology of Project Management.
  6. External Consultancy
    To consider the appointment of external consultants to assist and support the Committee when acting as the Sponsor Group for the Force Programme.

    Draft core programme business case presentation includes what is in and out of scope, what the programme is seeking to achieve and the outline costs.
  9. Complaint in Relation to a Member of the Chief Officer Group
    Report by an Independent HR Advisor who investigated a complaint made against a member of the Chief Officer Group. Members to consider the recommendation made by the Independent HR Advisor in his report.
  10. Job and Grading
    Terms of reference for the task and finish group.
  11. Readiness for Change Study - Progress Report
    Update on action taken.
