Chairs Committee

A meeting of the Chairs' Committee will be held at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 6th July 2010 at Endeavour House, Exeter to consider the following matters.

Any papers listed as "to follow", urgent items or supplementary papers will be made available as soon as possible and in any event at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.

  1. Apologies for Absence
    To receive apologies for absence from Members unable to attend the meeting.
  2. Declarations of Interest
    To receive any declarations from Members / Officers of personal and / or prejudicial interests in respect of matters for consideration at this meeting, together with the appropriate statement on the nature of any such declared interests which are required to be published in the minutes of this meeting.
  3. Items Requiring Urgent Attention
    Items which in the opinion of the Chairman should be considered by the meeting as a matter of urgency.
  4. Minutes and Actions from the last Meeting
    To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on the 28th May 2010.
  5. Risk Register
    To consider all risks allocated to the Chairs Committee and make recommendations to the Risk Review Group of any suggested changes.

    Update in respect of the Force 2012 Change Programme which includes a summary report covering the updated Programme Business Case and a Programme milestone plan indicating.
  9. 2012 Change Programme Position Report
    Report of the Police Authority Independent Assessor, updating Members of the position of the 2012 Programme.
  10. Report to Follow. Employment Tribunal Reporting
    Report recommending a mechanism for where and when future employment tribunal cases will be reported to the Authority.
  11. Report to Follow. Police Authority Support Arrangements
    Report to secure Members approval to the proposals discussed at the Police Authority Seminar on 4th June in relation to capacity and support arrangements. Report to Follow.
