Performance Management Committee

A meeting of the Performance Management Committee will be held on Wednesday 9 June 2010 at 10:00 in the Conference Room, Devon and Cornwall Police Authority, Endeavour House, Woodwater Park, Exeter to consider the items as detailed on the Agenda given below.

This meeting will be broadcast live on the Internet and recorded for future viewing.

Any papers listed as “to follow”, urgent items or supplementary papers will be made available as soon as possible and in any event at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.

  1. Apologies for Absence
    To receive apologies for absence from Members unable to attend the meeting.
  2. Declarations of Interests
    To receive any declarations from Members / Officers of personal and / or prejudicial interests in respect of matters for consideration at this meeting, together with the appropriate statement on the nature of any such declared interests.
  3. Minutes and actions from last meeting
    To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 31 March 2010 as a correct record and receive an update on the actions arising.
  4. Performance Report
    A report and presentation providing details of Force performance towards the Policing Plan targets for the year to date with a focus on public satisfaction.

  5. Policing Pledge Scrutiny
    As part of the Police Authority’s Policing Pledge Scrutiny Plan, Members will examine Force performance towards Pledge points 5 (emergency call response) and 9 (keeping victims updated).
  6. National Crime Recording Standard and National Standard of Incident Recording compliance update
    An update on Force performance presented by the Police Authority’s Lead Member for crime and incident recording compliance.
  7. Protective Services Working Group Update Report
    This report provides a summary of the work undertaken by the Protective Services Working Group. This Group was established to provide the Police Authority with assurance that the Force has the appropriate plans and activities in place to protect communities from serious harm. To follow.
  8. Consideration to Exclude the Press and Public

    Recommended that the Agenda item detailed in the table below be considered as closed items

    This report provides an analysis of incidents of serious violence that took place during 2009-2010.
