Standards Committee Agenda

A special meeting of the Standards Committeewill be held on 7 June 2010 at 14:00hrs in the Conference Room, at the Police Authority Offices, Endeavour House, Woodwater Park, Exeter, to consider the items as detailed on the Agenda given below.

Any papers listed as "to follow", urgent items or supplementary papers will be made available as soon as possible and in any event at least 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.

  2. Apologies for Absence
    To receive apologies for absence from Members unable to attend the meeting.
  3. Declarations of Interests
    To receive any declarations from Members / Officers of personal and / or prejudicial interests in respect of matters for consideration at this meeting, together with the appropriate statement on the nature of any such declared interests.
  4. Joint Working with other Standards Committees
    Work has been undertaken to explore the potential for a Joint Standards Committee for the South West Region to be established in accordance with the guidance received from the Standards Board for England. The report sets out the findings of the research to date and proposes a model terms of reference for a joint committee. The Committee is asked to consider the report and the terms of references and agree any comments / issues that it wishes to bring to the attention of the Authority meeting on 25 June when the report and model terms of reference are presented for a formal decision.
