- Freedom of Information Act Request for Information - Appeal
The Devon and Cornwall Constabulary Police Staff Communications Group has appealed the Authority's initial decision not to release to them, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the full report compiled by Richard Penn entitled Review of the Job Evaluation Project. The Standards Committee has the remit to consider and decide upon the appeal. The report for this item is to follow.
Please note that whilst this item has been placed on the Agenda for consideration in open session the Committee may decide to enter closed session to enable specific discussion or the receipt of legal advice.

- Standards Committee Best Practice / Compliance Check list
A compliance checklist for the Standards Committee has been compiled based upon an Audit Commission diagnostic tool. The checklist is presented to the Committee for consideration as requested (minute SC39) to follow
- New Code Of Conduct for Members
The new Model Code of Conduct for Members was laid before parliament on 4 April 2007. The report includes a copy of the relevant Statutory Instrument and asks the Committee to consider recommending the Authority to adopt the model code.
